Not a Question of Theology.

The question is not, and has never truly been, "when does life begin," though it is often phrased that way. Nor is there any necessary question of the attachment of a soul when it comes to public policy and the law. No, the question is simply: at what point does a new human being become entitled to the protections of law? And that, Barack, is not above your pay grade.

Fr. Thomas Berg clears away the detritus today at NRO.
